Optimizing investments in EV charging through data sharing

Electrification will play a considerable part in decarbonizing transport, a sector accounting for a fifth of global carbon emissions. Despite projected growth in both electric vehicles (EVs) and electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVCI), the sector is still not on track to meet its climate targets. Data sharing and the collaborative development of digital solutions can increase predictability, allow better forecasting of infrastructure value and reduce the risk of investment in EVCI to meet the growing demand for EVs.
